About the project
The Brief
The department embarked on a major leadership initiative in 2019, including the development of an online program titled ‘Management Foundations’.
This program was designed to provide just-in-time learning support to frontline managers across a broad range of general management topics.
A selection of these topics were considered candidates for development in Articulate Storyline. Nine such modules (or ‘learning bites’) were outsourced to two separate vendors, but required significant rework to meet expectations.
That rework was brought in-house and assigned to me.

The Solution
The rebuild originally included nine modules. By re-scoping the work and applying an efficient design methodology, I reduced the content to six modules of 2-8 minutes each.
The program was co-designed with a graphic designer who created dozens of custom-built visual assets to give the series a unified look and feel.
I provided voiceover and closed captioning for each module.
