About the project
The Brief
In 2016, the RFDS eLearning catalogue was a mish-mash of internal and external solutions, much of which was of poor quality.
In addition, the look and feel of solutions varied widely, leading me (as a learner) to wonder which organisation I was working for as I moved from title to title.
As I was hired to develop eLearning content, I needed to develop a standard for myself and others to follow.

The Solution
I had been writing an eLearning book called ‘Scope, Structure and Style’ for several years and adapted that unpublished manuscript for RFDS use.
The end result is an accessible look at the eLearning design process and has established a standard approach for the RFDS that has been successfully applied across a host of solutions since 2017.
