About the project
The Brief
A number of my colleagues expressed an interest in the potential use of interactive video solutions using Storyline and were looking for a demonstration.
The Solution
I created a humourous proof-of-concept module where the learner was placed in a typical flying training scenario.
By combining realistic flight simulation footage with a quirky instructor named Rex, the learner would see the consequences of their choice using video feedback.

Features
Personalisation
The learner was prompted for their name early in the module. This data was captured in a variable and used throughout the result of the module to personalise the experience.
Humour
Humour was incorporated for the select group of learners, all of whom were known to me and possessed the approrpriate sense of humour. Learners quickly realised that Rex the virtual instructor was not backward in coming forward...
